Large bedrooms and a luxury bathroom. Excellent service, attentive staff. Found in a very quiet part of the town.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

Very good staff and food - they offered a relaxing stay for a night. Thanks to the accommodating staff everything was good. Nothing too much trouble, loved this place and would recommend.

Large terrace with great view. Good breakfast. Good wireless. Spacious guest area.
We had booked a deluxe double room which was very small. Fortunately the tap was broken and we got a new room that felt a bit bigger. Now, of course, I wonder, was the first room really "deluxe"?

The food in the evening was already very good, the breakfast extremely delicious!
We had three spiders in the room when we arrived. It was a bit dusty in the corridor and in the restaurant.

Would recommend for a brief sojourn
Comfortable room, enjoyable food, with friendly staff who made our stay pleasant, and the breakfast had a good menu to choose from while the location was perfect for exploring the area.
Loved everything.

The quietness of the hotel suited us perfectly. We had a very good room that was furnished to a high standard. We felt it was well suited for a range of local site seeing places if you where prepared to travel a short distance - ie longleat, cheddar gorge, Weston Super Mare, Glastonbury. All staff where very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was cooked to order.
The room used for breakfast is in need of a makeover/updating. The menu in the in hotel Italian restaurant was limited if you did not want pasta or pizza, however all the meals we had where good.

Lovely stay in a charming location
The rooms were spacious with nice little touches like tea and coffee. Breakfast was a feast, but they could've added a couple more hot items since it was £16. Plus, the staff were super friendly, even gave me a cute birthday dessert! Just a bit noisy with a party nearby.

The bed linen and bed were first class but the room was small although booked as spacious.
Totally lacking in atmosphere. In a position where there were fantastic views which could not be enjoyed from inside the reception rooms. There was a very ugly terrace but no garden as the outside area had all been bricked over to make massive parking areas. Too much stone, brick and concrete and not enough foliage. I think that the site has probably been spoilt by all the building-what a shame. Nothing remains of the original Inn, "which can trace its history back to 1704, "

Good stay in a beautiful setting
The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options cooked to perfection, and the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway with fine views. The service at the bar could be improved, as there were times when staff seemed overwhelmed and it took a while to get attention.

Room was excellent really nice bed and pillows. TV tiny. A big bathroom with a tiny shower!
Staff seem flustered on arrival and restaurant/ bar area seemed under staffed. I picked to stay here as they made the restaurant a feature but they certainly didn't promote this once there. The location will only suit if you want to get away from it all as there is nothing else within walking distance. You would need to travel to Wells for any entertainment.

cleanliness of room and quite relaxed. Good TV and bathroom lovely
ordered a double and got a twin. wifi did not reach room and was minimal in bar plus had to ask for password. Evening meal was ok but very basic - (basic menu that night as it was quiet even though a saturday.) and breakfast buffet was poorly stocked. Had cooked breakfast which was ok but no toast and minimal interaction with staff, polite but not over friendly with exception of lady who checked us out. That said i would still stay again
